Lincolnshire Care Association is announcing a new strategy which will enable our 19,000-strong care workforce to demonstrate their versatility as the county integrates health and care services.
This strategy is outlined in our latest white paper, which details the exciting future we hope the next decade will hold for the social care sector, as new systems come online and new ways of thinking about and delivering our services are developed. We recognise that there will be challenges to face along the way, but we believe that they will be worth it for the potential benefits to the area.
The white paper, ’Do you care? The future of adult social care in Lincolnshire’, details our contribution to the vision for a more integrated system which, for the first time, would bring together all of the key stakeholders across health and care, as well as local communities to improve relations and maximise efficiency. It also outlines the very real issues we will all need to tackle in order to realise that vision.
Together, we have a unique opportunity to vastly improve the quality of life of many people in our county. In your role as councillor, we urge you to study this white paper thoroughly, in the hope that it will provide you with a new understanding of how the landscape of care will evolve in the coming decade.
The white paper is available on our website here.
Your contribution to the realisation of our vision is invaluable, so please feel free to get in touch with us with your comments and suggestions.
