12) Update regarding widening of public footpaths

The Senior Highways Officer confirmed that works will be scheduled to be undertaken on some paths, however, we are still awaiting a reply from the “safer travel” team at LCC.

14) To discuss and resolve on further fencing for new burial field

Discussion and resolve if it would be sensible to fit a fence (of some form) from newly fitted hand gate to concrete footpath, to encourage use of the public footpath rather than utilising a short cut across new burial area. 

 

15) Update on responsibility for village drain

The Senior Highways Officer has confirmed that there are no blockages in the gullies in The Orchards.  Highways map indicates that the drain terminates at the end of the entrance to Heath Court.  The gullies from The Orchards outfall into Church Street drainage pipes.
